Up for sale is an authentic vintage Dr Pepper wooden soda crate dating from the 1950s to the mid-1960s. This piece features the highly collectible mid-century "Bounce Script" logo stamped in bold red lettering on the side panels, completely authentic with the period dropped from the "Dr" name.
Condition Details & Modifications:
- Finish: A previous owner applied a warm, dark wood stain to enhance the natural pine grain. The red logo text remains clearly legible through the finish.
- Branding: The outer end panel still features the iconic, authentic red circular "10-2-4" clock slogan stamp, which remains clearly legible through the finish. 2 on each end.
- Structure: The wood is solid, sturdy, and features original metal-reinforced edges.
- Character: Shows beautiful, authentic age, weathering, and minor surface wear from its days in a bottling plant, giving it an excellent primitive look. No date codes or production stamps are visible due to the refinishing.
This crate makes a perfect rustic farmhouse decor piece, a unique display shelf, or a functional storage bin for any vintage advertising enthusiast.
