Stunning Vintage Bohemian / Czech Spatter Art Glass Basket with Rare Clear Thorn Handle
Up for sale is a beautiful, mid-century Victorian-revival art glass basket, frequently attributed to prestigious Bohemian makers like Franz Welz or Kralik. This exquisite piece features a vibrant ruby red and dark marbled spatter glass body with a dramatically ruffled, double-crimped rim.
The standout feature of this collectible piece is the hand-applied, clear glass "thorn" handle that twists gracefully into a loop at the top.

- Pristine Handle: The highly fragile clear thorn handle is completely intact. All textured thorn tips are smooth and free of damage or breaks, which is exceptionally rare for glass of this age.
Dimensions:
- Height: Approx. 8.5 inches (to the top of the handle loop)
- Width: Approx. 7 inches (at the widest part of the ruffled rim)
- Please review images for condition prior to purchasing.
