Vintage Lomonosov (LFZ) Porcelain Dwarf Spitz / Pomeranian Dog Figurine
Up for auction or buy-it-now is a beautiful, authentic vintage porcelain Pomeranian Dwarf Spitz figurine manufactured by the historic Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (Imperial Porcelain Factory) in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Masterfully designed by legendary Soviet animalist sculptor Boris Vorobiev, this charming figurine beautifully captures the breed's signature perky, upright ears, pointed snout, and fluffy, proud coat. It is elegantly hand-painted with a warm apricot/light brown wash over a brilliant white glazed soft-paste porcelain base.
Because each piece is individually detailed by hand at the factory, your figurine features its own unique shade blending and expressive facial features.
